I have the honour to acknowledge receipt of your

(17) confidential (2) despatch of 30th November, 1938, regarding -138.

military contribution and in accordance with your request

to forward for transmission to the War Office a statement

of the actual revenue of the Colony for the year 1937, on

which military contribution is payable.

2. A similar statement was supplied in May, 1938, to the Command Paymaster, Hong Kong.
